In 2014, parents gave a camphor tree to Songjiang campus to celebrate Pao School's first cohort of middle school graduates. Alongside the tree, the parents gifted an engraved stone from Pao School founder Anna Sohmen Pao’s hometown, Ningbo, with a message in both Chinese and English: “Honorably presented by the first year Junior High graduates of YK Pao School.”
