Striving for academic excellence: Academic excellence remains an essential part of the vision of Pao School and we will continue to focus on improving teaching quality to ensure that all students fully achieve their own academic potential, not just measured by examinations but through developing their curiosity and intellectual exploration.
A foundation of strong values: We believe that in an era of heightened social tensions, information overload and fake news, it is even more important that our students can learn the values of YK Pao School: compassion, integrity and balance, as well as the character traits that we nurture in our character education program.
Passing on a legacy of Chinese culture: We will continue to work on improving our Chinese cultural and curricular offerings, including the study of Chinese history, literature, philosophy and art, to ensure all students have a strong foundation in these areas.

At the dawn of the Year of the Ox, Pao School's campuses stirred to life as students returned to school after a restful holiday.
During the Spring Festival holiday, all of Pao School's campuses ensured campus safety by arranging for personnel to be on duty as necessary. President Wu Zijian visited the campuses on numerous occasions to survey the situation and express his gratitude to the faculty and staff members who stayed on duty during the holiday.

As the holiday drew to a close, in line with government regulations, the three campuses prepared extensively for students to return to school in line with government regulations. Although Shanghai had become a low-risk area prior to the return to school, Pao School remained as vigilant as ever.
