Dr Thomas Lickona
Dr Lickona is a U.S. character education expert. He is a developmental psychologist and professor of education at the State University of New York at Cortland, where he directs the Center for the 4th and 5th Rs (respect and responsibility). The recipient of the Sandy Lifetime Achievement Award from the Character Education Partnership, he is the author of Educating for Character, which has been called ‘the bible of the character education movement.’
Dr Tan Chuanbao
Dr Tan is a professor of education, doctoral programme advisor, and director of the Center for Citizenship and Moral Education at Beijing Normal University. He is also the member of the Educational Science Programme group both at the Beijing and national level, a member of the National Primary and Secondary School Moral Education Text Book Review Committee and chairman of the China Education Association Academic Committee on Moral Education.
