All the children had yet another fun-filled Book Week from 24 to 28 October.
We explored this Wonderful World throughout a series of engaging activities, such as Fun Fact Scavenger Hunt, What a Wonderful World in My Class, Fancy Dress Friday, Book Fairs, and inspiring Workshops with experienced Storyteller & Authors.
It was a Book Week not only for students, but also for Teachers and Parents who worked together across Departments to create a series of meaningful learning activities for our children to gain deeper understanding of this Wonderful World. Furthermore, the workshop with the award-winning performer, Regi Carpenter, was another highlight. Everyone went home with new inspiration and excitement they’d love to try both at home and in the classroom.
As part of our Book Week tradition, every child was invited to embrace the fun of reading in our English and Chinese Book Fairs. The Fancy Dress Friday gave everyone a chance to celebrate the closing of Book Week in his or her creative and original Book Week costume. It was an amazing experience to see the Statue of Liberty reading side by side with other historical figures, a giant Book was read by curious learners in the corridor, or a couple of Mad Scientists discussing feverishly about their next experiment during lunch.
