On April 10, a small camphor tree was planted between the grassy area between the Residence Hall and Learning Center. Carved into a large rock beside the tree was the message: “Honorably presented by the first year Junior High graduates class of YK Pao School.”
Three years ago, the Secondary Division was first established, and 75 students and 25 teachers settled into the serene and spacious Songjiang campus. By the end of June 2014, it had grown to 375 students and 90 teachers. This first group of graduates grew up together with the school. To commemorate their experience, parents prepared a special gift for Pao School: a camphor tree, to represent their hopes for their children and the school. May all of our students stay humble, grow in harmony, and be happy and healthy!
We hope YK Pao School will continue to grow and prosper with the support of its founders, the government and society, and become a bright star in the field of education!
