On Feb 26th, Eurest, Pao School’s catering company, brought famed UK chef Darren Tinkler to host his groundbreaking interactive cooking show, “Putting Fun Back into Food.” Eight of our students were split into Red and Green teams, both teams with the same mission: to prepare a healthy, tasty meal from fresh ingredients in just 15 minutes!
Tension, anticipation, and dramatic music filled the auditorium as students cheered for their classmates, while team members worked hard to complete their culinary challenge. A student panel of judges then tasted the tantalizing dishes and declared Red team’s “fried noodles with meatballs and bean sprouts” the winner over Green team’s “macaroni with chicken and broccoli.” All in all, it was an extremely fun and educational way for students to learn about healthy eating and be creative in the kitchen.
