YK Pao School's Year 5 students enjoyed an outstanding opportunity to work with the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) on February 25.
In addition to learning about their current tour with Henry IV Part 1, Henry IV Part 2 and Henry V, a speech and vocal coach along with a senior director from the RSC engaged our students in a range of activities, including vocal activities that actors do before each performance or rehearsal.
Other activities helped students to develop their spoken expression and all students went into role as King Henry in order to better understand the language and meaning of Shakespeare’s work.
