Welcome to YK Pao High School.
What drives us at Pao School is not just what our students achieve whilst they are here but also what and who they become when they graduate. Our aim is that our pupils leave us both with excellent examination results and places at some of the world’s leading universities, and with the skills and attributes needed to succeed in their future careers. Equally we strive to develop in every individual a strong sense of their own cultural heritage and identity, confidence in and ambition for themselves yet with genuine compassion for others.
We pride ourselves on the quality and rigour of our Chinese/English bilingual academic programme and the strength of our holistic education. There is far more to the High School than just a first rate academic education. Our co-curricular and residential programmes are designed to complement our academic endeavours in support of our school’s unique mission and vision and our commitment to Wellbeing. We want all of our students to discover and develop their interests and passions amongst the wealth of experiences that we provide.
We are fortunate that our beautiful campus in the Songjiang district of Shanghai, with its world class facilities, provides so many opportunities for our students who, throughout their time at the High School, are guided and supported by a talented and dedicated team of staff.
My commitment to every student here is that they will acquire new knowledge and skills, as well as a strong set of values, so that will be prepared for their future pathways beyond the High School. We strive to ensure that when they leave us their parents will be proud of their child’s achievements and be delighted by the person they have become.
I would encourage you to come and visit the school and experience for yourself the dynamic and nurturing atmosphere that we believe characterises YK Pao High School.
